First Trip

Well today has been one of those days. We are leaving tomorrow on our first investigative trip into the Matses community and so we have been busily preparing to leave and everything has gone wrong! Amongst other things --- I wrote this really great blog this morning on our computer but when we left for town hours late I forgot to bring the computer....
Anyways, we are really excited to go to the community and a little bit nervous because we have never done this before! No one we know has ever been to this community so it is pretty exciting. We will be going into the town of Angamos by float plane and then we will take a boat into the smaller communities. We will be there for two weeks living with the Matses.
Please pray that the Matses will be receptive of us and that we will be able to get all the information that we need and don't know we need! We will just be observing there culture, looking for churches and believers and just seeing what they believe and how they live. Please just pray for me as I am almost 6 months pregnant and for the health of Adam and I and the baby as we will be dependent on the Matses hospitality!! :)

We are really looking forward to being in contact with this new people group and hope that it will provide vision for our future here and for our team.

Thank you so much for all your prayers. We think and pray for all of you daily and will be thinking of you as we are gone! We look forward to telling you all about what God is doing when we get back!
