Can you believe that it is already January!!! Time is just racing by :) This last month has been absolutely crazy as Adam and I were preparing for Jon and Sarah and Emily's arrival and just normal day to day things. But we managed to get everything finished and we had an absolute ball with my family at Christmas.
It was so good to see familiar faces - plus we got tons and tons of fun baby stuff from all of you!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! It is all so wonderful and perfect. We are getting so excited about our baby girl - it is so hard to believe that I only have 6 weeks left!!
We are slowly going to wind down our work load as the end of January approaches and as we prepare for the birth of our baby, BUT for the next two weeks Adam will be investigating the Huitoto people.
We have been blessed to have 3 guys volunteer to help him out with this project and he is really excited.
Also, on a side note, everything is GREAT with our house!! Thank you so much for your prayers! We heard just yesterday from our landlord and everything is ok. There was just a sight misunderstanding but apparently everyone is happy and they want us to stay here :) YEA!
PRAYER REQUESTS FOR THE NEXT COUPLE OF WEEKS
* Pray for Adam, Randy, Jonathan & Quinten as they investigate the Huitoto.
** Pray that they will have wisdom & insight into this new people group & that the people will be receptive.
*** Pray for strength and endurance as this is new territory for all of them & that they will just trust the Lord in all their decisions. Especially since our trip to the Matses was a bust - that we wouldn't force anything that isn't God's will but would allow him to work in and through us.
**** Pray for Adam and I as I near the end of my pregnancy that all will be well with the baby and that we will patiently await her arrival!
