The view from our hotel!!

Well, as you can see we had the privilege to go to El Salvador this weekend!!! It was our friend Amy's birthday (seriously these girls know how to celebrate!) Of course we take any excuse to do something fun :)  We had a really great time.  The weather was absolutely perfect and the water was actually a little bit warm!

To be honest - the beach isn't my favorite... I know right!? I want to like it, but having sand and salt stuck to me for long periods of time just doesn't appeal to me, ya know!? Plus everytime that I have been in the ocean...it hasn't been pleasant (even on our honeymoon, i seriously almost drowned....surfing on an air mattress just isn't as easy as it looks!) Needless to say I was a bit hesitant to get in the water - but Ellen and I bobbed and jumped and dove and we totally conquered those waves :)

Adam and the other 4 girls all went surfing - that was fun to watch!! Actually it probably would have been fun....if we could see them! You really need binoculars for that sport! Anyways good times were had by all AND don't worry we got PLENTY of sun :)  Walking was a bit labored for a couple of days...but we survived.

School has been really good - Adam was able to get his old teacher back and so we are both really enjoying class.  I feel like I am learning tons....just wish I was remembering it later.

We hope that the weekend and this week will go fabulously for you all and we look forward to writing you this weekend!
Love, Adam & Jess
