Two weeks ago, Adam and I were able to go and visit our good friends, Tim and Tina Louderback and their four kids, Trinity, Noah, Gracie Lynn & Eden. We met them during our long, painful and extensive process with the IMB, lol. We became friends instantly and have really missed them since leaving orientation in December. They are going to language school in Costa Rica for a year before heading to Panama.
Adam and I were able to buy some cheap tickets and visit!! The funny thing is that they thought we were coming March 19th…. instead of February 19th!! So it was pretty funny when I called to get the directions to their house on February 18th before we left and they had no idea we were coming!! Fortunately they didn’t mind the surprise, lol. It was so fun to see familiar faces! Especially just to hang out and relax – Costa Rica is a pretty nice place to just hang out in, lol. Since we had been there before and we only had a short weekend we hung out in San Jose and just enjoyed each other’s company.
They had some meetings to attend so Adam and I were able to play with the kids and take them to several parks in the area. It was really fun – we also had some REALLY good pizza and were able to go to the bathroom and shower inside!! How fun is that, lol. I was able to go to the market with Tina and watch her shop for fresh fruits and veggies (in Spanish!) it was very impressive!! It was hard to leave and come home, but we really enjoyed our time with them.
